The 18-month program gives eligible young agriculture students and graduates practical experience on Danish dairy or pig farms under an internship arrangement. You work 37.5 hours per week with salary paid monthly in Danish kroner directly to your personal bank account. Approved overtime is paid separately.

Official internship contract
A formal internship arrangement on a Danish dairy or pig farm.
Legal work & residence route
Subject to approval by the relevant Danish authorities.
Supervised farm experience
Hands-on, practical agricultural training, 37.5 hours per week.
Medical care & paid sick leave
Under the applicable Danish system and your contract.
Up to 7 weeks paid vacation
Subject to the contract and Danish law.
Monthly salary in DKK
Paid directly to your personal bank account; overtime paid separately.
Who can apply
Eligibility requirements
- Age: up to 25 years old, inclusive
- Current student or graduate of an agriculture-related program (veterinary, zootechnics, farming or related)
- Minimum A2 level of English (certificate where required)
- Good health and strong motivation
- Ability and willingness to cover the applicable initial expenses
Preferred, but not mandatory
- Previous farm or agricultural experience
- Valid driving licence
- Ongoing study at a recognised agricultural institution
